life sucks when you know the people around you are gonna enjoy their asses off during the long weekend and then you have school to go for still. and assignments to worry about.
sigh.
come on. bring in the term break already.

it’s interesting how growing up puts you through different seasons to make you find things the way you never thought it to be… i’m starting to wonder and maybe even worry, where we will be in the next few years.. because right now i’m starting to feel a change in things. like how a pancake is starting to get burnt.
it’d be less upsetting if i cared much much less.
i have answers to questions that could break your heart.

i caught the highly anticipated movie The Great Gatsby in theaters with my mum earlier this evening. The build up of the story took quite a while to unfold, but nevertheless i quite enjoyed the movie very much. Every scene and every word uttered took a pinch to my heart. i was very impressed with the cinematography, and the actors and actresses in it they played their roles so well. i have not read the book personally, but i think the movie surely did some justice to it. the only thing i was disappointed with in the movie was the lack of variation in the music.. i dont even think the movie has a proper soundtrack like every good movie should have! they kept playing Lana Del Rey’s “young and beautiful” song in almost all the parts. and i swear it got me really irritated especially when the lines of “will you still love me when i’m no longer young and beautiful” kept repeating! god it was downright frustrating to hear those lines that dont quite fit into such a lovely scene! besides i thought the lyrics was just horrible apart from it sounding so so silly.
still. it’s The Great Gatsby. you will either get bored of it (i heard some snoring in the cinema), or you will completely immerse yourself in it (like i did).
NY under water.
The eye-catching swimming pool in Mumbai, India, has been built to raise awareness about the threat of sea level rises as a result of global warming.
It was constructed by attaching a giant aerial photograph of the New York City skyline to the floor of the pool.
